Hello- Brand New to ATH
Hi! I'm Rachael- live in Covington, KY which is right next to Cincinnati, OH
I am 33 and am just getting back into eventing. As a kid and young adult, I evented up through training level. This past year I leased a horse and took him Beginnner Novice. In November I adopted a 4 year old tb named Max. He was rescued off of a killpen truck by a local tb adoption agency. after several rocky months, he is finally starting to come out of his shell. We are having a great time together and we get closer every day. I plan to take him to his first mini trial in October. He loves to jump, but still has a few confidence issues that should sort themselves out once he's done some more dressage and pole work and has developed a little more balance.

Welcome, and congratulations on the rescue! I bet the confidence issues work themselves out as Max realizes he's in loving hands.

Glad to meet you. Sorry it took me so long to respond, but I have been in the middle of a real estate class. If that is Max's picture, he is beautiful. Good luck with him. Feel free to start discussions and educate us more about Thoroughbreds.

yes, that's max's picture. thank you! i think he's pretty too! I have no idea where to start in a discussion! all i can say about tbs is "day crazy!" i love them, tho. haha
