How did you get involved with horses?

My sisters were riding. I was 4 and started riding the ponies. The rest as they say is history.

Permalink Reply by {}--{}*Live.Laugh.Ride*{}--{} on July 23, 2008 at 3:55pm: well..i've always loved horses since i was a little girl. but i got hooked onto riding when i went to rocking horse ranch on my senior trip in high school and trail rode for the 3 days...i fell in love with it. then i was accepted into cw post and found out that they had a riding team there. i didn't join the team till my sophomore year there..i was on there for 2 years but the first year i was on there..by the end of it..i adopted my first horse Lucky. A chestnut thoroughbred gelding about 16 years old..he was a rescue horse coming from a bad past but such a good first horse for me..by then the end of me being on the team and during it i decided that i wanted to have a career with horses....since cw post i transferred to st. joes to be closer ot my horse..because i was dorming..then my horse got hurt..broke his witherbones from flipping on the cross ties..and after 4 months of hospitalization we made the decision to put him down..he wasn't getting any better..and now i have nikko and i will be going upstate to suny cobleksill to get my degree with horses..and that is my story!; ▶ Reply to This
