If you had one piece of advice for someone who is new to riding, what would it be? I know I would have gone about things totally different if I knew then what I know now...

I would definitely let them know that riding is very hard work and not to take it lightly. I learned from my own son that most young people who start riding think it is all fun and games. There is a lot more to it than that.
