Hey I'm Yolande and I live in South Africa, Pretoria. i just bought two horses, but the where abused and neglegted. They are my first horses and will ask quite a few questions and advise to care, train and understand them. And no I won't give them to an animal rescue centre.... I do have help, but can use all the help I can get.

Mysty is a filly 9 months old and Ciro the brown gelding ( i think they call it)

Also,
I have some friends here who are from SA. Their father trains Hackney Ponies in SA. If you need help please contact me and I will see if I can get you in communication with the father in SA. I am also willing to give you all of my knowledge as well.

I wish you the best of luck....these rescues need us!!! Thanks for taking them in. Just remember that they will take more time and traust than the others that have been trained and taken care of.

Gayss thank you so much. I actually checked Misty's hoofs this morning!!! I can't believe she let me!!! Back and front!! I am so chuffed!!

Courtney thanks you so much, i would love to come in contact with someone that could help me with training and other small little things.

I am able to touch them both, groom and hugs them. They adapted so quickly. But I will need to seperate them, for Misty will do nothing if Ciro isn't around.

I'll read through all the blogs and see if I have more questions.
