Feeding behavior
Hey all
I just wondered if it is normal for horses to push and show for food ? The are kept in an open pasture and the get fed there as well. They can come right up to the gate and can see there food being dished. Whn you try and go out the gate to put the food where the normally feed, is becomes a "push and shoving and shouting " match. There is absolute no manners at meal times. The younger on is a 10 month old fill and she get excited easily and doesn't always look to where on is and might or hurt hurself or one of us with all the racket. Any advice ?
There stabels should be up by this weekend, would this help illimanate the problem ?
