Today was a great day! My first class of the day was Light Horse Management. In that class we are going to be learning about safety around the horse, differences in horses, breeds, management, etc. I'm so excited about it..and I'm loving my books too. i'm sooo happpyyy...my horse is doing so much better..he got his hocks injected the other day and he's been going well..i got on him on saturday and we walked and trotted and he was good..but just to make sure i had one of my trainers come and out take a look at him yesterday and he even said that he was looking good!! omg i 'm sooo excited and sooo relieved...and i'll be able to ride him when we move upstate to school..i rode him today and i rode him a little longer than saturday and yesterday.… Continue

One thing that has happened was that my horse got lame in his front right..big bummer..but that always happens when he's due for shoes..because this is the 2nd time that it's happened but it also could have happened when i tried to get him to get the right lead canter at a turn..as i have been told..but i don't know..and then that same week i wasn't riding him he started colicking..he had a impaction..luckily my trainer caught it for me while i wasn't there. it was pretty bad..he was stretching… Continue
