You know you show Saddlebreds if:
-Your horse cost more than your car...and your proud of it!
-You try to get all your partying done on the weekdays because you're off at shows on the weekend
-You try to figure out a way to eat massive amounts of food and still fit into your suit
-Fair food is why you get fat in the summer
-You miss school/work functions to go to shows
-your main goal is Louisville...the end
-Your hot and you know it! as is your horse
-Your show suit cost more than your entire regular wardrobe
-Summers are spent sweating at shows or in training sessions for shows
-The people you show with are your second family
-You hate on all other breeds
-You can talk excitedly about whips and chains in the nonsexual way
-You have ever looked at clothing and thought that it would go good with your show jods
-you have gotten overly excited and automatically shouted "YEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH BOOOOOOOYYYY" and you friends thought you were crazy
-rocks+cans=quick and easy noisemakers
-you keep firecrackers/smoke bombs available at all times...as well as a fire extinguisher
-You can braid a horse's tail faster and better than you can your/your friends hair
-While all of your friends are reading COSMOGIRL you like to read Saddle and Bridle or National Horseman
-You get severly offended when people say "So you don't jump? then what, do you just ride around in circles all day?
-Everytime you go to the mall you go to the men's department to shop for ties...and you own more ties than any other guy you know
-you rip your expensive pair of jods and have to walk around with your ass showing to the entire world
-you severly freak out when your black electrical tape goes MIA
-half the fun of going to horse shows is going to exhibitor parties
-your trainer gets a new Saddlebred, and the crazier, wilder, and faster it is, the more you love it
-you can spot a Harlem Globetrotter or a Supreme Sultan foal a mile away
-You know who William Shatner is (and if you're lucky, have nearly been run over by him at a show)

William Shatner has been showing and breeding American Saddlebreds for at least the last 20 or so years. He has a farm called Belle Reve. As of late, he doesn't show under saddle anymore, but he still drives some of his horses. His previous wives also have horses and one of them Marcy is breeds American Saddlebreds.
