The Barn Cat's View of the Horse in the Third Stall from the Rafters Looking Down

If I'm balanced on the rafters looking down a nice wide tan place to land slightly sloped on either side but if I jump just right maybe I can land on that neck place with the long hair a bit steeper but it looks soft snuggly furry hmm I wonder if I can nap there it looks so soft snuggly furry let's see the trajectory is going to have to be out 12 degrees down 5 degrees no wind so no adjustments needed let's just see how accurate this is without having to go into more scientific approaches must remember this time not to deploy claws remember the last time fourth stall from north gate and that mare did NOT appreciate the deployed claws I'll be more careful this time that was not an experience I care to repeat ok maybe just one more time but not in broad daylight scared the bejeezus out of the kid on her back how was I supposed to know horses don't like having two riders on one saddle at one time after all I'm not THAT heavy since I laid off the second mouse after midnight and started getting more grains in my diet speaking of which is that a new belt on that thing going over his head and I need to remember not to claw on those either as the last time I did that I seem to recall the distinct taste of metal from the dislodged rivet that I was still trying to cough up last week and that reminds me I must thank the tall animal for the use of that new blanket and it only took a few hours of biscuit making to get it soft enough to sleep in which I would have done for hours but that wool just drives me mad with its itching and rough fibers trying to embed themselves in my belly if I don't take the time and make the effort to prepare the material properly which is the only way I know of not to get wool fibers in between my toes and teeth and I don't need to tell you what a completely maddening experience that is even if you land just right on the blanket in the first place one must be prepared to have that blanket just leap right out from under you and whap you up against a highly inconveniently placed stall board or two as you tumble off the nice wide tan place to land slightly sloped on either side but if I jump just right maybe I can land on that neck place with the long hair a bit steeper but it looks soft snuggly furry hmm.

Maybe not. (**yawn**)
