The Haflinger originates from Austria and the Tyrol. They normally go up to 14.4hh, although some are bigger. Odin is a Haflinger/Coldblood cross and so this has made him around 15.1hh.They are superb all-round horses and mine is a great weight-carrier (he has to be :-0 ). An extremely good temperament generally makes him ideal for what I want him to be, which is to be used as a re-enactment/battle horse, covering the Iron Age up to the 18th Century. Odin is coming up for 5 years old and has a really sensible head on his shoulders. He helped me through a time when I had completely lost my nerve with horses following a bad accident. I love him to bits and wouldn't part with him for the world. He has had total novices on his back and has shown great patience with them (although he will take advantage when he knows such a rider is on him, by not doing a great deal if he can get away with it :-) ) He is keen to learn and will give you his all, if he knows you're the boss. He is not particularly fast, although he has his moments. In all, a fantastic boy.
You found me. I think all 8 are me. I had a hard time figuring out facebook lol

I didn't sign the petition. I don't give a darn what facebook looks like. I've been a member for 2 years but never used it except to message my sister once or twice. It is just that now my cousins are on it and asking for my 'friendship'. So I go to confirm friendship. Heck, they don't even speak to me when I'm in the same room mostly, lol@

I don't think I would say that. ...,I thought I was putting it on facebook and it slipped on to myspace. Looks good there too, lol!
However, when I tried again this time getting it to facebook only a picture of Gimme A Dream went on there.

Oh Dear! Now I'm feeling stunned. I think I have the new setup done..., I think, maybe it is possible, lol!
I'm sorry but facebook is not a strong point of mine.

Lately I've been called to facebook by friends and relatives. I've tried to place the All things horsey badge there but I don't know how. Can you tell me?
well yes being a fire fighter is a strange hobby but with 6 children its a good feeling to walk or race out the door knowing someone else needs you and in a small community like i live in its a social thing as well, nice to help save someones house or life my 4 older kids live in marlborough and my 2 younger kids live here with me and my husband.
my husband is a keen horse lover helping whrn ever he can and when he was younger rode as much as he could but just on the farm and the beach races were blessed by his turn up!
i have just finished breaking in a horse sent to me, backed and all to send her home and the owner discovered she has a rare tumour in her mouth, that will cause all her teeth to fall out and jaw bones will shatter! shes only a 2yr old and a kaimanawa breed, which is a wild breed in the north island and every year they muster them up and sell them, but she was born and breed in captivity.... a very sad time for her owner and myself and family.
